New york-based decoupage artist and shop owner John Derian released his latest Thanksgiving collaboration with Target.
John Derian’s Target Thanksgiving Collection
Designer John Derian is a favorite of mine, I have both of his books, have visited his shop in New York city’s East Village and have a few of his decoupage pieces. This week John Derian’s 2024 Target Thanksgiving Collection was released. This limited-time collection and line of decoupage inspired pieces is perfect for Thanksgiving. Last year the collection of Thanksgiving decor sold out in record time. As did most of the pieces from the recent Halloween collection.
If you are unfamiliar, Derian is an American decoupage artist. He uses his extensive collection of 19th century imagery of the natural world, ephemera, and 18th and 19th century prints and more for his pillows, trays, throws, art, books, ornaments and more.
The new Thanksgiving collection includes vintage-inspired pieces. There are table runners, an array of festive turkeys, the ever popular beaded turkey pillow, an acorn pillow and mushroom pillows with intricate beads. As well as melamine trays, woodland fowl glasses, serving pieces, and candles including adorable asparagus tapers, a turkey, and an artichoke that add a whimsical touch to your Thanksgiving table.
I am headed to my local Target, which just opened a week ago, today to see if I can get one of the bird candles, last year I got one of the fabulous trompe l’oeil candles with a collage of turkeys, I am also going to check out the adorable pie carrier with the same sweet bird, who knows I may be carrying my pumpkin pie to this years diner in this carrier.

Pamela, they have so many cute pillows this year! Unfortunately I was only able to get one thing, everything else is sold out in my neck of the woods.
