WEEKEND MEANDERINGS
Good Saturday morning to you friends. It’s time for Weekend Meanderings with Kim. Join us as we share all of the things that piqued our interests and caught our eye this week.
Juliet of off this week as she is traveling but will be back next week.
How was your week? Yesterday we stood in line for well over an hour to vote, it was a beautiful day and there were lots of interesting people around us so the time went fast. Don’t forget to vote.
What are your plans for the weekend? This morning we are going to the farmers market and Holly Art Fest, then for a long bike ride. We just got new bikes with electric assist, wish me luck.
I’m also working on a couple DIY projects for the holidays, if they turn out I will share them on the blog.

ONE TO FOLLOW~Sherlock & Pages Books
If you love books(who doesn’t) and the UK you are going to love Sherlock & Pages! Luke Sherlock is a writer and wander who loves historic architecture. He shares his stories on @englishpilgrim. He also happens to be one half of Sherlock & Pages a bookshop in Frome. Agathe is his partner and the other half.
After years of working in climate action and sustainability they quit their jobs moved to Frome and opened Sherlock Pages a quintessential and picturesque independent bookshop in the middle of town.
You can follow the bookshop and learn more about their mission and see the latest books they like as well as listen to interviews and adventures on Youtube.
Another One to Follow~ London is Pink
I discovered Julie the photographer of London is Pink on Instagram and she is defiantly one to follow. She moved to London from D.C. 9 years ago and has been taking photos of this beautiful city every since. In addition she writes travel guides about London, Paris, and Amsterdam.
I love this thought from Julie, Pink isn’t just a color, it’s a feeling. It’s happy, beautiful, unique, bold – that joie de vivre. I take photographs to inspire these feelings.

Martha~Martha Stewart Documentary
The first self-made billionaire and original influencer Martha Stewart is the star of a Netflix documentary and just wrote her 100th book! An amazing business woman, television personality, gardener, writer, model and Sports Illustrated swimsuit covergirl and so much more.
Martha is an amazing woman and her zest for life and tenacity are just a few of my favorite things about her. I Aldo love her motto of learning 1 thing every day!

Post cards from Wales J Crew
Did you see the new J. Crew campaign, Post cards from Wales? It features the stunning landscape and locals: Gilly, a postmaster, Simeon, an osteopath, and his son, Titus, a student, Charlie, an arborist, and Emma, an illustrator, Ray, a fisherman.
It is one of the most beautiful advertising campaigns I have ever seen but then again I may be biased because I love the Uk.
India Hicks x Tuckernuk
India Hicks, daughter of Lady Pamela Hicks and designer David Hicks, goddaughter of King Charles III, bridesmaid to Princess Diana is an author, model, podcaster, business owner story teller and now collaborator with Tuckernuck.
This week India released a 24 piece limited edition collection of dresses, blouses, scarves, jackets, shoes and more. My favorites are this toile dress and this blue shirt dress.

Brenda, I was a little surprised myself! That is a lot of books, 2 a year for 50 years.
Sherlock & Pages is such a great shop. They also mention that there is an “amazon” for independent booksellers but I cannot remember the name.
