Real tree or artificial? If you are looking for a new tree this year check out my King of Christmas King Noble Fir.

Today I want to show you my new Christmas tree! King of Christmas reached out and asked if I would like to review one of their Christmas trees. My first thought was no, I have a tree that I love. Then I remembered that last year my brand new pre-lit tree had a problem with its lights, one section kept burning out. Not to mention that the top always seemed to be a little wonky. I said yes to the tree and I could not be happier. The King Noble Fir is 6 feet tall, is life like and looks like the English Christmas tree I have always wanted.
King of Christmas King Noble Fir
I LOVE Christmas, and grew up in a family that loved Christmas. My mother has an entire Christmas storage room at her house so we take decorating for the holidays seriously and so does King of Christmas. They make putting up your tree effortless. It comes beautiful wrapped and packaged in the box and although it comes with directions, you won’t need them. The best part, from opening the box to fluffing the tree took less than 30 minuets, 25 of which was fluffing and faffing with the tree branches.

This is the most user-friendly tree I have ever had. It comes in three separate sections, each labeled A, B, C along with a sturdy metal stand. Once you unfold the stand and plug it in all you do is insert the sections together for effortless assembly. Because of the “power pole technology” they instantly light up. Gone are the days of finding the cords from each section to connect them and then tucking them into the branches to hide them.

The sparse silhouette looks just like a tree that you would find in nature or on a tree farm, it is dense on the bottom and a little spindly on top. It’s unique style allows your ornaments to take center stage.

I am using this tree in my dining room and have it in the corner so that I can see it whenever I am in the kitchen as well but it would work well in a cozy apartment or bedroom too!

How I decorated my Noble Fir Christmas Tree
Because we have two other trees in the house with lots of ornaments, garland and ribbon I decorated this tree very simply. I ordered candle lights to add a bit of the old world and tradition to the tree without burning down the house, ribbon and a few colored glass balls that I found at TJMaxx and Home Goods. At the last minute I added dried hydrangeas and a few little mushrooms.
Under the tree I used a vintage wool blanket as a tree skirt, then added some sugar cone pinecones and some vintage glass fishing floats. Simple, elegant and beautiful in my opinion.

Until Tomorrow
Do you know that people who put up their Christmas decorations earlier tend to be happier and friendlier according to psychologists? For years we put up our Christmas tree after Thanksgiving dinner. But over the years we started decorating earlier. Between traveling, holiday preparations and work we found we missed out on the enjoyment of our decor so we started putting it up earlier and taking it down later and it makes us happy to see the twinkling lights in the morning when we wake up and when we go to bed.

When do you decorate for Christmas?

King of Christmas Trees

What a beautiful old-fashioned looking tree, Elizabeth! I can see some of the grounds outside and it looks like you have an equally beautiful yard.
Brenda
Thank you Brenda! That is the best compliment! I was going for an old fashioned look!
We are so blessed because we live on a golf course and we look out as lush green greens and have lots of pine trees. The pines are a bit of a pain dropping cones every day but we love them
Have a wonderful day!
Hi Elizabeth,
Your Christmas tree looks beautiful. It’s so nice that you can enjoy it by the kitchen. Your outside environment is gorgeous, it reminds me of our Oak Creek Canyon environment in Sedona.
We had endless cleaning up of pine cones and needles to pick up and our roof was full of pine needles at times. I don’t miss that part.
We keep Christmas very simple now days. In fact this will probably make you gasp. We donated our beautiful tree and most of our ornaments a few years ago. Our family is out of state and out of the country. Since we are advancing in age I do decorate but I keep things simple.
I think it’s wonderful what you do, you were raised in a Christmas festive family. You must bring so much JOY to yourself, family and friends. Keep sharing.
Elizabeth! I love this tree. Nobel firs remind me of the trees in my grandmothers home. I love that they’re so natural and allow lots of room for decorations. Speaking of which, I adore your simple design. Those candles are absolutely charming. I may have to order them. And I love your simple bows and glass ornaments. It’s perfection and you’ve put me in the mood for Christmas! xo
