Fall salads you will want to eat all season long. Filled with cranberries, squash and all of your favorite fall root vegetables, nuts, cheese and topped with delicious dressings.
Good morning friends! I am knee deep in pumpkin bread, muffins and other sweet treats topped with all things apple including bars, cakes and pies. I love baking, what can I say, and baking in the Fall is the start of months of the scents that transport me back home to my mo and to baking as a child with my grandmother. Happy memories to be sure but also lots of sugar and calories that need to be offset by healthier salads and meals.
Today I wanted to share 5 Fall Salads that are on my weekly meal plan all Fall and Winter long and may soon be on yours as well.
5 Fall Salads You Will Want to Eat All Season Long
1.ROASTED ACORNS SQUASH SALAD WITH ROASTED SWEET POTATOES, CRANBERRIES AND SQUASH SEEDS.
2. ROASTED CRANBERRY, APPLE, CAULIFLOWER AND BUTTERNUT SQUASH SALAD.
4. BEETS, BACON AND BLUE CHEESE SALAD
All of these salads are customizable, you can add or subtract your favorite root vegetables like pumpkin, squash or sweet potato, add walnuts instead of pecans, use feta cheese instead of blue cheese and of course you can always add protein or make them vegan.
If you like the looks of the salads simply click the link below each photo and you will be taken to the recipe, you can also check out my Pinterest Salad Board for more suggestions.
As for dessert, everything in moderation my friends, everything in moderation. Don’t skip the dessert you like, just have a little and don’t indulge every day!
