Good morning! Did you have a nice weekend? Mine was just as I said it would be, a productive and yet lazy weekend at home. Once the weather turns chilly I love to “sleep in” on the weekends, by that I mean waking up at my usual time but staying snuggled in bed with my husband, a pile of magazines or my latest book, a cup of cocoa and my pups.
Over the last few weeks as I listen to the news and see the chaos and horror in the world, talk to friends have lost children, parents and friends, or are struggling with cancer and other illnesses and as I drive around my city and see more homeless people than I have seen in the last 12 years, I am reminded by how blessed I am. Don’t get me wrong, I too have had my own struggles this year. I lost my godfather and my father-in-law, I have had a health scare, and have been on my knees praying for a friend who had life saving surgery among other things.
It also has me thinking, in this month of Thanksgiving, about making a point to express my gratitude and thanks to my family, friends, and to myself for so many things. I would like to invite you to join me this month in doing to same.
If you are not sure where to start, you could use this gratitude graphic from Ava’s Alphabet or

this one from One Thing Alone.

Or if you have another suggestion please share.
I hope that you have a great day!

My motto is just to be grateful every day. Simple but efficient.
