A weekend update, American Viscountess, The Four Mrs. Bradwells, Fall Fashion and more on Monday Musings.

Monday Musings
It’s Monday! How was your weekend? Ours was busy, and hot and thankfully rainy.
Friday we realized our irrigation wasn’t working. After an emergency call and a ridiculous amount of money later the yard finally got watered. It hadn’t been watered in a week and we did not realize it. Two of the bushes are in serious distress and a few of the plants dried up and died after a week in the 90’s. I was a little irritated because they installed the unit less than a year ago, they said it was hit by a surge and fried. Oddly enough, nothing else in the house was fried.
Saturday & Sunday
Saturday the dog was sick on the leather chair, while cleaning it up we left the water running in the sink and it overflowed onto the bathroom floor. Yes, I realize this is the second water issue in a month. It is a reminder from the universe not to multi-task because it just causes more mess and chaos in the house.
We put one room back together and the other is almost finished. All we have left are the curtains, the rods are hung but I had to steam the curtains and I ran out of time before we were off to a party.
Sunday we celebrated our 19 anniversary, we have been together 29 years but married 19.
All in all a busy but fun weekend with a busy week ahead. Thankfully it is a holiday weekend.
Tell me about your weekend, what did you do for fun?
Next up +5 things.
+5 THINGS
1.READ~The Four Mrs. Bradwells
Mia, Laney, Betts, and Ginger have reunited to celebrate Betts’s appointment to the Supreme Court. But when Senate hearings uncover a deeply buried skeleton in the friends’ collective closet, they retreat to a summer house on the Chesapeake Bay, where they find themselves reliving a much darker period in their past—one that stirs up secrets they’ve kept for, and from, one another, and could change their lives forever.
