Caramel Stuffed Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Krispy Bars
Did you know that today is National Peanut Butter Day? It is, so let’s celebrate with these delicious Caramel Stuffed Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Krispy Bars. These no bake treats could not get any easier. Simply layer dark chocolate peanut butter Rice Krispies, Reese’s peanut butter cups, a gooey caramel filling topped with more dark chocolate peanut butter Krispies.
These are not your average Rice Krispie cereal bars, they are so much better. I make these Caramel Stuffed Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Krispy Bars all the time for family and friends, and as a last minute treat for weekend get togethers, game day and summer gatherings. They are the first thing to go, after my Baked NY Brownies and caramel stuffed-brownies.

You can customize these bars any way that you like, if you don’t like peanut butter cups don’t add them, if you prefer Special K or Corn Flakes instead of Rice Krispies use them. Don’t like dark chocolate? Use milk. Add whatever cereal, chocolate, or candy you want to these bars, you cannot mess them up. My favorite way to eat them is warm and with a spoon. Yes, guilty as charged. I cannot resist eating a scoop of the mixture as I layer it into the pan.
Ingredients You Need to Make Them
Chocolate Peanut Butter Krispy Layer

Caramel Layer
- 1 bag Kraft Caramels, the same ones you buy at Halloween. You will find them in the candy aisle.
- Milk, whole or 2% milk is fine.
- All-purpose flour to thicken the caramel layer.
Peanut Butter Cup Layer
- Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups or any Reese’s peanut butter shaped candy, i.e, trees, pumpkins, hearts.

Hello Esme, I hope that you enjoy the bars. They are my favorite!
Delish! I may just have to make these or the big Detroit Lions game on Sunday. Thanks for sharing!
Kim, I think you will love them! Have a wonderful day and stay warm!
How many cups of chocolate chips is in a bag of Ghiradelli that you use.
And I also need to know the amount in weight or measure of the bag of Kraft caramels.
Before I try these as there is no real direction for amounts in the recipe, we get bags of these in different sizes in Canada.
Thank-you
Nancy
Hi Nancy, the Ghirardelli chips I use are 10oz(roughly as with shrink flatten they seem to change). The Kraft caramels are 11 oz. I hope this helps.
Elizabeth
Thank-you so very much for your reply. I have everything in pantry and will be making them today.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Nancy
Nancy,
I hope that you enjoy them. Be careful when you melt the chocolate and the peanut butter, it can burn very easily. You can also do it in the microwave.
Enjoy.
