Good morning friends and happy weekend! Yesterday morning I woke up and Fall had officially arrived. There was a chill in the air and I actually needed a jacket for my morning walk. Later in the evening the scent of the first wood fire of the season wafted through the air, it may have ben a bit premature but if I had a wood burning fireplace I would do the same.
My Friday posts are chock full of articles, books and finds and more but sometimes I miss a few things so I thought I would share them today.
Wanderlust

If you are experiencing a little wanderlust and don’t want to travel outside of the U.S my friend Cindy Hattersley just spent her holiday in Rosemary Beach, Florida. This charming community is the perfect place to spend time with family and friends. You can read here post here. And another friend Maryanne was in Rhode Island and visited the summer “cottages” of the Vanderbilts and the Astors. If you have never been to Rhode Island these beautiful houses are a “must see.” You can visit Maryanne’s post here.

That blanket scarf you posted, I just love. I don’t always like wearing a coat. I usually will throw a wrap or blanket scarf around me when heading out to do errands. They make wonderful gifts.
Tammy, I think you are so right, a blanket scarf is a great gift and perfect to have in the car for cool days that are not cold enough for a coat. Or for people like my mom and mother-in law that do not like to wear coats at all.
I love that plaid dress! It definitely feels like fall in my neck of the woods.
I do too Paula, I think it would look fabulous you!

You too William!
