I know that for many the temps are already falling and the mornings are crisp. My mom said that it already seems like Fall in the Mid-west. Here it is still hot but that does not mean that my thoughts are not on the important parts of fall. Comfort food! On a cold day I love carbs, especially bread. I could make a meal out of a hot loaf of bread straight from the oven slathered in butter. Sometimes though I do not have much luck with yeast bread. I am hoping that this delicious Fresh Herb Bread from The Pastry Affair turns out well because it everything that I like, crusty, soft and herby.
