Good morning! Happy Friday to you! I hope that you had a great week. I am a little tired today because yesterday our Spanish friends(who are returning to Spain in a few weeks) came over to teach us how to make authentic paella, sangria and other Spanish food. It was a great time but I think I need to fast for the weekend because I ate way too much.

I love the country homes of the UK, everything always seems so cosy. Cote de Texas has a fabulous post this week if you would love to rent one of these cute cottages and experience it for yourself.

  1. You know who loves lavender? Bees! (Our lavender is covered with so many different kinds of bees, from big, fat, yellow-and-black striped ones right out of cartoons to little tiny black ones.) And lavender honey is highly prized. You really can taste the difference in the various kinds of honey.
