Good morning! How is your week so far? Mine has been busy, but great. I am looking forward to a short week and the Easter holidays.
This year we are staying home for a cosy Easter dinner for 2, so I pulled out a few of my favorite finds and everyday items to decorate the table. I started with a tablecloth I had made from a piece of Colonial Williamsburg fabric. I have had this piece for a couple of years and lucky for me this gorgeous fabric matches the decoupage eggs that I made this year.
Then I layered a white charger plate, with my standard white dinner plate, a white napkin and vintage flower salad plates and of course a chocolate bunny.
In place of flowers I created a centerpiece of vintage silver-plate bowls filled with eggs, marshmallow eggs piled high on my bunny cake plate, small tivoli garden bowls with pastel candies, a collection of ceramic birds and a scattering of eggs and candy.
I love the bright fuchsia, pinks and green against the chocolate brown linen, the colors while not traditional Easter colors compliment the pastels of the candy, the eggs and the flowers on the salad plates.
What are your plans for Easter? Will you be hosting a big family dinner, or a small brunch? Whatever you do I hope that you have a wonderful day.

Elizabeth… your table is absolutely stunning! Have a wonderful Easter!!
It would seem you're well prepared.
LOVE those decoupaged eggs. Looks so cottage-y and adorable. Also love the flower plates. Never met a flower I didn't like!

Looks really lovely – and I could go for one of those dark chocolate eggs right now – perhaps they have coconut centers which would make them awesome!
This is all so pretty and festive for Easter Elizabeth….I love your creativity…have a very blessed Easter Day!
