The Chef’s Table, The Fortune Teller of Small Things, a Spring Outfit and more on Monday Musings.

Monday Musings
Good morning friends, I hope that you had a lovely weekend. We were busy. There were horses, parties, birthday’s and work as well. We finally moved into our bedroom and master bathroom!
Today or tomorrow the dry wall contractor, Scott is coming to fix a few spots in one of the closets. Hopefully it will not bee too much of a mess but we were just so tired of living in limbo that we moved in.
Tomorrow the carpet cleaners are coming to clean the carpet in the room we have been sleeping/living in the last year. Then we will move my husband’s desk, furniture and office stuff in and out of the dining room.
We still need window treatments in both rooms but for now we are making do with what is there until we find what we like. Slowly but surely we are making progress.
Sadly the rain storms this weekend beat down most of my peonies. I now have a house full of peonies which I love and the house smells heavenly, but I miss seeing them out the windows.
Ok, on to 5 Things!
Read~

The Teller of Small Fortunes is not my usual kind of book but it came recommended and had great reviews.
Tao is an immigrant fortune teller, traveling between villages with just her trusty mule for company. She only tells “small” fortunes: whether it will hail next week; which boy the barmaid will kiss; when the cow will calve. She knows from bitter experience that big fortunes come with big consequences…
Even if it’s a lonely life, it’s better than the one she left behind. But a small fortune unexpectedly becomes something more when a (semi) reformed thief and an ex-mercenary recruit her into their desperate search for a lost child. Soon, they’re joined by a baker with a “knead” for adventure, and—of course—a slightly magical cat.
Tao starts down a new path with companions as big-hearted as her fortunes are small. But as she lowers her walls, the shadows of her past close in—and she’ll have to decide whether to risk everything to preserve the family she never thought she could have.

4. SHOPPING BREAK~OUTFIT OF THE DAY

They say butter yellow is the color of the season but lately all I see is lemon, lemons that is. Lemon print dresses, skirts, shirts and shoes. This outfit is simple and sunny, a lemon printed skirt and a t-shirt, it will brighten your day even on a rainy day.
Pair the skirt and the t-shirt with your favorite sandals or flip flops, bag and accessories.

On My Radar~Lemons

Hi Elizabeth,
A BIG YAY for moving back into your master bedroom and bathroom. You both have had to power through so much. Hopefully Scott can fix a few of the spots without too much mess. You both have been through so much.
On Saturday I completely forgot all about the Kentucky Derby, go figure.♀️I guess my head was in la la land. I did see some pics on the news. Too bad about the rain.
Have a wonderful day.
